Ever notice how some nice elements can get dull without something behind them to either add contrast or support? In design, the background is as important as the foreground. The background editor is a handy tool to carry out your vision in UXPin.
The right side of your editor screen contains a general properties menu.
After clicking any element on the canvas (like box or button), the menu will change to display selected element’s properties. Find the “Style” section and click the “Upload” button under Pattern submenu.
Right after you select the desired background picture, UXPin will process it. Now you can align its position both vertically and horizontally and adjust it to fit the entire area, or you can enable repeating. Repeating along a specific axis allows you to extend the pattern beyond its original size almost infinitely (well, limited only by the element’s width and height). Here is a great example:
If you need elements to have backgrounds based on repetitive patterns, you will find this tool helpful. Experiment and have fun with your free trial!
