Trials are obviously great. We want everyone to make an informed decision and be sure that the application will fit their needs. That’s why we encourage everyone to test drive the application before taking a leap of faith and starting a subscription. When you’re ready we’re here for you and this tutorial will walk you through upgrading your account.
Upgrading a suspended trial account.
You gave us a shot, liked the application but the trial period is over and your account is now suspended. When you log in, you’ll see a modal outlining all available plans and an option to upgrade your account. Please note that you have an option to choose a monthly or an annual subscription at the very top. Once you’ve picked the winner, please click on “upgrade” button.
You’ll then be taken to our payment modal where you can input your payment information into our secure form and complete the purchase. Please note that we show you the plan of the subscription, payment schedule and the total price so you can review all the details before making the purchase.
Note that you can add all the billing information here as well by checking the “Add billing information” box and filling out the details. Once you click on Complete transaction, you’re done and your subscription is active. Keep in mind that it will renew automatically on a chosen payment plan until you make changes or request a cancellation.
Upgrading an active trial account
It may also happen that you fall in love with UXPin at first sight and decide to upgrade your account even before the trial period is over. In such a case first you need to click the cog icon in the top right corner of your dashboard and open the Account Settings section.
Then just switch to the “Billing” section and click Start subscription button to see a modal with pricing plans along with summary of the available features and upgrade your account!
You can also simply click Upgrade now button in the top right corner to open the modal right away!
How to change your current plan?
What if you’re already a happy UXPin user but decide that you’d like to take advantage of some features not available on your current plan and want to upgrade your existing subscription? You can easily make the change at any time right in UXPin.
In order to do that, please go to Account Settings and “Billing” section. You’ll see your plan details and an option to “Learn more about…”. If you’d like to change your plan please click on that.
You have two options here. Depending on your situation you might choose to either upgrade or downgrade your account.
When you upgrade, you will be charged the prorated amount for the difference between the plans for the current subscription period. Please note, that once you click confirm, we will automatically charge the credit card on file. When you downgrade the account, the change will be effective at the end of the current subscription period.
