Paper Over Your Differences With UXPin Notepads

There's no substitute for getting together and working things out with your hands - and our prototyping notepads ;)

Old School Collaboration

Back before the cloud and online editing, humankind had "people sitting in a room together working things out." It still works great today - so let our prototyping notepads help you collaborate on your next design!

Paper: It's Still User-Friendly

You can drag & drop by hand, too, you know. Don't let the name "notepad" fool you, our kits are fully interactive, with pre-cut element stickers, workbenches and everything else you need to get the job done.

Tangible Usability Testing

Paper prototypes offer a tangible, touch-driven experience that's highly relevant in today's multi-platform world and that allows you to quickly assemble prototypes and then assess and adjust them just as fast.

Messy, Eraser-Stained Pencil Prototypes Are... Sketchy

You're a professional & your prototypes are too, so they shouldn't look like they were done on the back of a napkin.

Notepads As Beautiful As Your Designs

We want our tools to be as beautiful as your UX Designs, which is why our notepads are robust to use & elegant to look at. The triple-thickness hard cover secures the precious content inside, while the striking matte finish will turn heads. We didn't skimp on the UI elements either. They're purpose-built sticky notes with double glue in the middle to ensure adhesion & adjustability.

Iterations That Are Quick, Clean & Convenient

Put down your pencils! Everything goes fine with your hand-sketched prototypes until you need to make a change, then you're either mired in messy eraser marks or stuck sketching it all over again. With UXPin's notepads, creating a new iteration is as easy as flipping the page and re-arranging the elements - and a whole lot cleaner & prettier to look at too.

Uploadable Notepad Prototypes?

Yep, you read that right. Our notepads are integrated with our online app! Once you've settled on a paper prototype, just take a picture of it and email it to us and then, sim sim sala bim, your prototype appears in UXPin ready to edit, collaborate on and share online. It's magic, basically.

Purpose-Built Mobile & Web Kits

UXPin Web Kits Help You Create Great UX Web Designs

Our Web Kit gives you a hands-on start to your web-based UX Design. A custom-designed, browser-shaped notepad, perfectly sized for web UX designs is complemented by sticky elements (forms, placeholders and everything else you need) to let you prototype like a pro in no time at all. Of course, the real focus is the user, which is why we've included persona forms to help you focus on exactly that (and a number of other forms to keep things on the right track).

UX Mobile Kits : Touch-Driven Design For A Touch-Driven Interface

Designing a mobile app that zooms to the top of the charts is a function of how intuitive and easy it is to use on today's touch interfaces, which is why mobile app design should begin with tactile prototyping. Our UXPin Mobile Kits let you do exactly that. With an iPhone-shaped notepad workbench and sticky elements that obey Apple Style Guides, you and your stakeholders will have a better, more collaborative experience from day one - and design a better app.

Elements That Aren't Elementary

Interactive Elements For Every Core UX Design Situation

Our UX Web Kits and UX Mobile Kits include 25 sets of 10 different elements, including form input elements like radio buttons, check boxes, text inputs and more. Of course we don't skimp on placeholders, navigation elements and other elements either. The end result is a set of elements that lets you rapidly create complex prototypes that are clean, attractive and ready for UX testing and feedback.

Paper Prototyping Elements That Aren't Paper-Thin On Quality

Our elements aren't cheaply made sticky notes. On the contrary, much like with our UX Designs, we spent a great deal of time and effort testing different concepts before settling on a final approach. The end result are sticky elements with a perfect thickness and double glue on the middle of the reverse side, giving you perfect alignment and letting you slice and dice as necessary without losing adhesive properties. You'll feel the difference as you confidently cut and paste (so to speak).

It's Not Just A Notepad, Of Course...

Our "notepads" are basically a hands-on UX Design kit that put the focus on the user, the experience and then the design, as it should be.

Identify The Problem Before You Solve It

Our notepads start you off with a Problem Statement Form that focuses you, your team and your stakeholders on the design problem at-hand, the target user group experiencing the problem and the unique value proposition. It's a great way to make sure you're focused on what matters while kicking off collaborative UX Design in a way that everyone can participate in and understand.

Give Your Target User Groups "Personas"

Avoid impersonal design by making sure that the focus stays on the user as a human being - one with emotions, needs, goals and all the other things that make users people. We’ve designed our Persona Forms with features like Magic Charts that let you easily assess ability levels and designate Trigger Words that keep your vocabulary tight and user-centric.

Diagram In Style, Rapidly, With Diagram Sheets

One important, oft-overlooked aspect of UX Design is diagramming things (e.g. sitemaps). That’s why we've designed special grids into our notepads that let you turn out professional, elegant diagrams quickly and painlessly, leaving you more time to focus on what matters most.

There's Still Room For Ad Hoc Sketches & Notes Too

No matter how refined a process gets, jotting things down and drawing up concepts here and there just comes naturally to creative people like us, which is why we've set aside a special place for sketches (on dotted paper) and notes.

oh and...

Your Kits Will Arrive Safe & Sound - And Pretty Fast, Too

We use DHL Delivery on all international orders, so your notepads are in excellent hands all the way to your doorstep - which usually takes as little as 2-3 days.

We Care Too Much To Cut Corners On Quality

It took a lot of man-hours to get our notepads just right for professional designers like you, who need durable tools that put a premium on quality. That's why we worked on the final product for months, testing different materials, before putting them on the market. We're sure you'll appreciate the attention to detail.
