That\u2019s why we\u2019ve put together some examples of pop-ups done right and backed them up with tutorials on how to create them in UXPin.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The whole idea behind cookie consents<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When sites remember your login details, preferences, or store your shopping cart items for later, that\u2019s all thanks to web cookies. Cookie consents are probably one of the most popular and obvious pop-ups. Still, when designing them, you need to provide a great user experience and ensure users\u2019 privacy at the same time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What&#8217;s really required in the cookie policy messaging<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Copy approaches to writing a cookie consent can be very different and may vary widely. However, at minimum, the consent should address:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What you use cookies for,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What do they give,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How your users can manage them.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selected examples of cookie consent banners done right<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The vast majority of websites display the cookie consent at the bottom of the viewport. It can be displayed as the footer or simply in the bottom-right or bottom-left corner. Let\u2019s take a look at some websites that have done it right. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.squarespace.com\/\">Squarespace<\/a>\u2019s cookie consent is not intrusive, yet remains visible at the bottom of the screen as the user scrolls the page. The example from FullStory is a more prominent one.
