UXPin AI Terms

At UXPin, we want to be transparent about how our AI features work and how we protect your data. This Policy explains how UXPin AI operates, what information it processes, and how we ensure that your projects and privacy remain secure.

This Policy complements our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Security page. Please review it carefully before using UXPin AI.

Overview

UXPin AI helps users generate and edit interface components, layouts, and JSX code using natural language prompts. All AI capabilities are part of UXPin's secure, server-side integration with trusted third-party providers. UXPin does not train or fine-tune its own models and does not use customer data to train any external AI system.

Current AI model providers include:

UXPin may update or expand its selection of AI model providers from time to time to improve functionality or performance. Any new provider will meet UXPin's data protection and security standards.

Definitions

To make this Policy clear, here are the main terms we use:

How UXPin AI Works

When you use AI features, UXPin securely sends your prompt and, when applicable, related context such as text, JSX, or screenshots to the selected AI provider through an encrypted API request. The provider processes your input and returns a response, such as generated code or layout suggestions, which UXPin displays in your workspace.

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. UXPin never uses your content or project data for model training or fine-tuning.

Data Processing and Retention

UXPin processes a limited amount of data when you use AI features.

UXPin AI is not designed to process sensitive or confidential information such as personal, financial, or health data. Please avoid including such information in prompts.

Prompt text and related inputs may be stored temporarily for the purpose of monitoring misuse, ensuring system stability, and providing support. These records are deleted upon request, as part of account cancellation, or through GDPR data-erasure processes.

Images uploaded as part of an AI prompt (such as screenshots) are stored in UXPin's secure AWS infrastructure (Amazon S3) solely for the purpose of processing the prompt through the AI provider. These files are private and may be deleted upon user request, account cancellation, or through GDPR data-erasure processes.

When users choose to enter their own API keys for the AI providers available in UXPin, those keys are stored securely on the server side. They are encrypted in transit and at rest, and are never accessible to other users or UXPin staff, being used solely to enable AI features for that user or team.

Outputs generated by UXPin AI are treated as normal UXPin data and stored as part of your prototypes, components, or design files. UXPin does not delete outputs from active accounts. Output data may be deleted upon account cancellation or suspension, as covered in the UXPin Terms of Service.

All AI-related data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to authorized UXPin staff for operational and security purposes.

Privacy and User Control

You control how your data is used with UXPin AI. Users may request deletion of stored prompts in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

AI features can be enabled or disabled at any time by contacting UXPin Support.

AI processing is handled by our subprocessors OpenAI and Anthropic, both of which are listed on our third-party tools page. Each provider makes its own Data Processing Addendum (DPA) available publicly or upon request and operates in compliance with applicable data-protection regulations such as GDPR.

Availability of AI features and Credit limits may vary by subscription plan or add-on. UXPin may update these limits or access rules in accordance with its standard product terms.

Ownership and Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the content you input and the outputs generated through UXPin AI. UXPin and its AI providers do not claim ownership of your data or the results generated from it.

You must have rights to all materials you upload, including code, images, and text. Because AI models may produce content that resembles public or open-source material, UXPin cannot guarantee that generated content is free from third-party intellectual property claims. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any output before using it in production.

Responsible Use

UXPin AI is designed to assist your creative process, not replace professional judgment. You are expected to use it responsibly and in accordance with our Terms of Service.

Do not include personal, confidential, or sensitive data in prompts. Do not use AI for illegal, discriminatory, or harmful purposes. AI-generated content should not be used as legal, financial, or medical advice. Always review and verify outputs before implementation.

Security and Governance

UXPin applies the same security standards to AI features as to the rest of the platform. All Inputs and Outputs are encrypted in transit and at rest. AI usage is monitored for anomalies or misuse.

Before releasing new AI features, UXPin performs internal reviews to assess risks, fairness, and bias. Employees involved in AI development complete responsible-AI and privacy training. Security and governance practices are reviewed at least annually. You can find details about subprocessors on the third-party tools page.

AI Limitations and Disclaimers

AI-generated content is produced automatically by third-party models. UXPin does not review or verify this content for accuracy or completeness, and it does not represent UXPin's opinions or guidance.

Because AI models generate responses probabilistically, similar or identical outputs may be produced for different users who submit similar prompts.

UXPin makes no warranty or guarantee regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of AI outputs and is not responsible for errors, omissions, or any reliance placed on them.

You are responsible for evaluating AI-generated content for correctness, appropriateness, and licensing before using it in your work.

Relationship to other UXPin Policies

This Policy supplements the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Security page. In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service shall prevail.

UXPin may update this Policy periodically to reflect changes in its AI features or model providers. Material updates will be communicated through the UXPin website or app.
